Well done!

Book Fair

The children have enjoyed their visits to the Book Fair, which has given them great opportunities to discuss books and reading with their friends. Many thanks to those who have supported children’s reading. Children are able to use a £1 World Book Day voucher towards payment for their chosen book.

Snails

The snails need a holiday home for the February Half Term.  Any takers please?

 TTROCKSTARS

This is a carefully programmed sequence of times tables practice the school has purchased for years 2 to 6, who all have their own log in details. The aim is to boost times table recall speed by a doing a five minute daily session on the week’s table set for them by school. Parents can check how their child is improving by looking at the site with their child’s login. The benefit over paper practice, is that children are shown the correct answer when they answer incorrectly, which helps them to get it right in shorter thinking time.

Questionnaire

Thank you to all parents who have already returned their questionnaires. Please note that the final day to get them in is Friday February 16th.

Wistanstow Church visit

Class 2 and 3 will be visiting the church with Revd Robert Payne during the afternoon of Friday 16th February to learn more about the building as a place of worship.
