A very big thank you to all those who attended the PTA meeting at the school yesterday. Plans are well under way for the Bike Show but let’s hope the weather improves!
Thank you to everyone who has already handed in your draw tickets.
It is now crucial that any draw tickets not returned are brought in Monday. All unsold tickets are sold at the Bike Show.
Keep your eye on your child’s bag as the rotas will be in there soon.
Volunteer Parking – parking will be scarce in the village on the day so we have been invited to park at Alex O’s house. (first left after the train bridge, over the cattle grid).
Years 2, 3 and 4 are going to Church Stretton Secondary on the afternoon of Thursday 15th March to take part in the Quicksticks Hockey Tournament. Please bring their school kit to change into.
These are our swimmers for Wednesday’s Gala –
We need to be at the pool by 9.30. Can they please wear swim suits under PE kit for easy/quick changing. We’d like to leave school at 9am please.
Also bring packed lunch and a drink. At least 2 towels (1 for drying and 1 for poolside) and a large t-shirt to wear between races.

The parents of children who wished to take part have been informed should have had a letter sent home.
Please note that we have changed the time of our church service to 2.30, from 9.30, on Wednesday 28th March.
Class 2 parent’s dinner is at 12.00 on the same day.
We break up for the Easter Holiday on Thursday 29th March and return on 16th April.
Tuesday was the Winter Shropshire Schools Games Final at Shrewsbury Sports Village. Our Quicksticks Hockey team qualified to represent South Shropshire including Tia, Georgia, Alfie L, Harrison, James and Mackenzie. They played the other 5 regions and won two games, drew 1 and lost 2… very well done.
We also took 3 cross country runners, Alex Orme, Matti and Jake Jones. They all ran in their individual year groups boy/girl races and Alex came 26th, Matti came 30th and Jake came 29th out of roughly 40 of the best school runners in the county… all the pupils put in a sterling effort and enjoyed the day.
